Longmont Economic Development Partnership (Longmont EDP) is where innovation meets community spirit. As a dedicated 501c(6) nonprofit organization, they are committed to fostering a vibrant and inclusive community in Longmont, Colorado.
Orchestrating city economies relies on businesses and residents thriving side by side. Tagging on LEDP’s collective impact approach, Avocet launched a national economic development marketing campaign that placed talent at the forefront.
Longmont is not just a city but a destination for both job seekers and those looking for a specific lifestyle. Armed with Longmont EDP’s robust data, Avocet implemented an integrated marketing plan, geotargeting locations rich in industries and job categories. Recognizing that job seekers consider both careers and lifestyles, our national campaign drew these potential job seekers to a redesigned website packed with information.
Longmont EDP and Avocet partnered to revolutionize Longmont EDP’s economic development branding. A brand mantra – “Longmont. Colorado’s Best Kept Secret.” – became our rallying cry. A new logo and brand look created a dynamic atmosphere. The website’s core were the “lifestyle” and “workstyle” tabs. Visitors can explore the “lifestyle” page for a tour of Longmont’s outdoor spaces, downtown attractions, and educational offerings. And for those who are job hunting, the “workstyle” page is a guide to career matches, job searches, and major employers.
For job seekers, the website is a treasure trove. But we didn’t forget Longmont EDP’s business partners, site selectors, and associates. The “Business,” “EDP,” and “About” tabs provide quick access to Longmont EDP’s business initiatives and key information.
Since the launch of the rebranded Longmont EDP website, the organization has witnessed remarkable results. The average time spent on the site has doubled from 0.15 seconds to 0.31 seconds, reflecting increased user engagement. Page views have soared by nearly 20,000 to date, showcasing the growing interest and interaction with the revitalized platform.
