Gig Job Description

The Avocet Organic Coordinator will help support our clients on a multitude of social media channels, managing the production, scheduling, and publication of day-to-day organic content and engaging directly with customers.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing day-to-day organic social media for Avocet and it’s clients on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn and all future channels.
  • Creating and utilizing client media assets to produce elegant, timely, tasteful, interesting, and on-brand content
  • Manage and schedule the daily flow of content
  • Engage with customers and influencers in real time and moderating discussion on social media posts
  • Tracking, measuring, and reporting out on social media results, channel growth, etc.
  • Staying up to date on social media trends and best practices to help create the optimal strategy
  • Collaborating cross-departmentally to translate business objectives and initiatives into social media actions
  • Working directly with creatives, brand ambassadors, and users to procure social media content
  • Supporting Digital Marketing Manager and Creative Director on an as-needed basis

 

Additional Responsibilities for Digital-based & Remote Work:

  • Responsible for maintaining organic media driven timelines
  • Responsible for gathering all organic media requirements for all client projects and initiatives
  • Responsible for helping to manage and maintain client expectations specific to organic media projects and campaigns assigned.
  • Be independent and have initiative to start and complete projects with minimal supervision.

 

Education and Training:

  • 2+ years of experience in social media marketing for a brand or agency
  • Hands-on experience with TikTok, Instagram, Facebook,Twitter, YouTube and familiar with LinkedIn
  • Experience concepting, capturing, creating, posting, moderating, and analyzing social media content
  • Bachelor’s degree, or continued education in a marketing, creative, video, design, communications, or related field preferred
  • Excellent communication and immaculate writing skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suites (or similar).
  • Ability to compose social media style videos
  • Creative, self-motivated, proactive mindset.

 

The Successful Candidate Will:

  • Have previous experience in organic media coordination for a marketing/communications role
  • Have strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Be well organized and detail oriented
  • Have excellent people skills and the ability to work efficiently remotely, or in person with a wide variety of personalities
  • Maintain a professional appearance and persona virtually or in person
  • Perform under tight deadlines
  • Be able to handle pressure well
  • Fit into the Avocet agency culture
