AVOCET COMMUNICATIONS ADDS TO MARKETING TEAM
DENVER (January 23, 2017): Avocet Communications, one of Colorado’s leading integrated communications agencies and recently ranked in the Denver Business Journal’s Top 25 Advertising Agencies in the state, kicks off 2017 with the hiring of two new dynamic marketing professionals.
Corey Powers, a graduate of Texas State University, has been brought on as Account Manager and will be overseeing the integrated strategies for the agency’s clients. He brings a decade of experience in branding, copywriting, and content creation to the agency. Prior to joining the Avocet team, Powers was marketing director for Cornerstone PATH and account manager for MOSAK Advertising, both in Austin, TX.
Sam Goshia, a Colorado native, has been hired as Avocet’s social media coordinator. She will assist the agency’s digital/social team in managing and monitoring all social media channels and implementing Google Adwords strategies. Goshia graduated from the University of Northern Colorado in 2016 where she received a bachelor’s of arts degree in Journalism. Before joining Avocet, she was the social media coordinator for Hampton Inns and Suites in Greeley, CO, and served as the vice president for PR for her sorority.
