Leveraging Video for New Business Development

Most businesses have not yet realized the power of video as a sales tool. At Avocet, we have leveraged video as a follow-up tool for both ourselves and our clients. Data supports the continued growth of video marketing and its usefulness and besides that, not many businesses are using it in this realm.

Our #AvoSense says that you need to integrate video email marketing into your new business tool box. Using platforms such as Bombomb, in order to send a follow-up video message via email to your new business lead. This site allows you to either record or upload your videos AND has a mobile plug-in to ensure you are looking hip and classy on a smartphone. You can also receive notifications when/how many times your video has been played and track its analytics. We would suggest recording your video (even on your smartphone) and creating a intro/outro to make it more visually appealing and professional. We have seen great results and received many kudos using this to follow up with potential clients. It is a great way to stay above the fold and show intentionality.

Make sure your content is spot-on by staying brief, intentional and professional. Although using this slick tool can look impressive, remember the most important piece of this is the content and friendliness you deliver. Lastly, make sure to include a strong call to action in your ending to make full use of this tool.
