LONGMONT, CO (November 18, 2020) – It was announced today that Avocet Communications, a Longmont-based and nationally recognized marketing agency known for its bold and brave creative strategies designed to help its clients increase customer count, ignite growth, and position their brands for success, will be manage all aspects of this year’s Longmont Startup Week.
This will be the seventh year for Longmont Startup Week, a collaborative annual gathering for entrepreneurs, intrapreneurs, investors, and talent that invigorates and nurtures Longmont’s entrepreneurial ecosystem by leveraging the city’s unique human, social, and physical assets. Avocet has been involved since the beginning as a sponsor and in providing marketing and public relations assistance.
Taking over to fully orchestrate the five-day virtual event will involve speaker coordination, sponsorship outreach, all event planning and logistics for virtual and in-person events, all marketing, public relations and media outreach, and more. Avocet will also spearhead an entire brand refresh of the event, including a new logo and a new look and feel for the website.

LSW21 will be held virtually starting July 26 – 30. from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. each day. Sessions will be held online and zoom rooms will be situated around Longmont for public viewing. There will be two live in-person, end-of-day social events on Monday, July 26 and Friday, July 30.
