LONGMONT, CO (June 1, 2020) – It was announced today that Lori Jones, president and CEO of Avocet Communications, has been brought on as a mentor for the nonprofit Entrepreneurship for All (EforAll).
The mission of EforAll is to accelerate economic and social impact in the communities it serves through inclusive entrepreneurship. Longmont is the site of EforAll’s first program outside of Massachusetts. EforAll’s innovative programs serve the diverse and untapped entrepreneurial community in Longmont.
Jones will be a mentor in EforAll’s Business Accelerator program, a free, one-year initiative offered twice a year providing immersive business training, mentorship, and access to an extended professional network.
“I am thrilled to be a part of this amazing organization,” Jones said. “EforAll is about inclusivity, empowerment, and support, and aligns with our mission and values perfectly. I am looking forward to working closely with entrepreneurs here in Longmont to help them bring their bright and innovative ideas to life!”
Accelerator Mentors come from a variety of backgrounds and use their business and leadership experience to guide new entrepreneurs through the process of turning their idea into a growing business. Mentors work in teams of three and are matched with an entrepreneur based on schedule availability and desire to work together. The team meets virtually as a group to help reaffirm topics and themes raised during classes, while also strategizing with the entrepreneur on how to reach their specific goals during the program.
